All of the partners are
involved at the Lewes Victoria Hospital, where we can admit and care for certain
categories of our own patients. Whilst we all try to provide a full range of caring
services, each doctor has their own particular style and areas of expertise. You
will find that you are free to consult with any doctor who is available, and you
are not limited to 'your GP'. If you find that one particular doctor
suits, and you would prefer to continue with them, this causes no problems. We
merely suggest that it is wise to have a particular doctor who knows you well,
although you may need to see someone else if the matter is urgent.
We try to look at our patient as a whole, and to consider all aspects of the problem,
rather than just the illness in isolation. We value life very highly, as a gift
from God, and we are also concerned about family life and relationships. Modern
society seems to have devalued these by its attitudes and practices. To counter
this, we try to promote a compassionate Christian view on issues such as abortion
and euthanasia; this forms the basis of some of the advice we may give. We believe
that our views are not just good morals, but represent principles that we believe
promote good health in all areas of life. We understand that not everyone will
agree with or heed this advice, but we believe it should be part of caring for
the whole person. If you feel otherwise we are sorry but we will not be critical
any more than when people do not heed our advice to stop smoking! We hope you will
not be offended by our honesty!
The partners are approved
by the Primary Care Trust for providing the following services:
• Maternity Medical Services
• Child Health Surveillance
• Contraceptive Services
• Minor Surgery Services

Receptionists
These ladies are here to help you. They have a difficult job to do, with phone
calls and enquiries from every direction.
When telephoning for medical attention the receptionist may ask for a few details.
They have been trained to make these enquiries so that we can help you in the
most appropriate way.
