Noticeboard

Noticeboard contents : GP Changes, Text Messaging for appointments, Access to appointments, 'Live Well, Feel Better' and Giving up smoking

  • GP changes at River Lodge & Anchor Field surgeries - Dr Sarah Richards & Dr Jacqueline Brickley will be leaving the Practice at the end of June.
We apologise to their regular patients but please be reassured that the high standards of care they provided will be contunued by our excellent GP team.
Please do ask a member of staff if you would like to be allocated a specific, alternative named doctor.
  • Text Messaging - we will shortly be launching a Text Messaging service to patients mobile phones to confirm when an appointment has been made. For this reason our staff will be checking your mobile number. If you do not want to receive text messages for this purpose please let a member of staff know.
  • At present we are experiencing exceptional demand for our services and this can make booking an appointment  difficult at times particularly if you feel you have to see your normal GP. Please bear with us. We are doing everything we can to maximise the number of appointments available across the Practice. Thank You.

Welcome to River Lodge Surgery Online

In 1988, the practice moved from its old home at Castle Lodge to the new purpose-built surgery at River Lodge. The practice also operates from the branch surgery in Ringmer.

The partnership has existed since the 1930s .Today, all the doctors working long-term in the practice endeavour to honour & continue the ethos & spirit with which the original partnership was formed in order to provide holistic care, regardless of faith or beliefs.

Our team, across the two sites, includes eight GPs, four practice nurses, three Healthcare Assistants, as well as our Practice and Office Managers, Secretaries and Reception staff.

We offer a full General Medical Service (GMS) and run a number of specialist clinics (see Clinics and Services).

If you would like to provide feedback, please click here or click on the Friend & Family Test link on the right-hand side of this webpage.

For full details of the latest results from the questionnaires, click here.  Results will also be published by NHS England on the NHS Choices website.
